LUXOR

Luxor offers an unusual amount of great sights and testimony of the Old Egypt in tombs and temples.
It is no exaggeration when Luxor some places is described as the world's largest open-air museum. Many excavations are still made in the area each year.
The Avenue of Sphinxes was inaugurated in 2010 after a very large part of it had been uncovered. Work is being done in the remaining area and in the future the Avenue of Sphinxes between Luxor and the Karnak Temples will be one complete sight.

Dendera   A full-day cruise, that offers the opportunity leisurely to enjoy the landscape and experience the Dendera Temple.
Aswan   By car, train or plane.
Nile Cruise   A sailing trip in a 3- or 4-star boat between Luxor and Aswan. It is possible to go by  boat one way or both ways. The boats make stops at Esna, Edfu and Kom Ombo for a visit to the temples at these places.
